isaiah tubbs is located in Prince Edward County, Ontario’s most rapidly developing culinary mecca.  We are looking for a team member to elevate our restaurant to the next level. 

1.Executive Chef

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager and Sales Manager to create innovative menus for the Restaurant, Banquet & Conference Facilities.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise all kitchen staff.
  • Manage inventory and continually strive to improve food quality and labour costs.
  • Employ a hands-on role to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Maintain high levels of food quality and safety practices.
  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive environment for all staff and clientele.
Skills:
  • Proven experience in a leadership role in a restaurant and/or event setting.
  • Able to motivate kitchen staff to ensure seamless service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively communicate with the culinary team and with all other Resort employees, particularly the Restaurant Manager, Sales, and Events Department.
  • A passion for food that drives you to highlight local produce, be allergen-sensitive, and appeal to a wide range of guests.

2. General Carpenter / General Laborer

Requirements:
  • Experienced carpenter doing various renovation projects
  • Minimum three year renovation or construction experience i.e, decks, framing, flooring, trimming, bathroom renovations, drywall, mud & tape, etc
  • Minimum 3 years of experience required
  • Ability to operate power and air tools in a safe and responsible manner
  • Must have own basic power and hand tools
  • Working at heights and fall arrest training required
  • Must be able to work outside in different weather conditions
  • Means of transportation to and from job site is essential as no public transportation available.
  • Valid G drivers license

3. Restaurant Supervisor

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the hiring process for floor staff.
  • Maintain inventory records and place orders for front-of-house supplies.
  • Develop schedules for the floor staff.
  • Supervise and manage the performance of floor staff.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the restaurant industry. 
  • Must have reliable transportation.
